Actress Tonto Dikeh joins ruling Nigerian party APC by Reagan Mends October 24, 2023

 

Accomplished Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh who transitioned to politics, has stirred controversy with her recent party switch.

After an unsuccessful run with ADC, the movie star boldly switched to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was introduced at the Abuja headquarters on Monday, October 23, 2023.

“Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh Joins APC… Tonto Dikeh who was the Rivers State 2023 deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, was unveiled by the National Women Leader, Dr Mary Alile & Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Duro Meseko at the Party’s HQ”, APC announced on X.

The famous Nollywood actress’ official induction into the APC was taken under the watchful eye of Dr Mary Alile, the national women leader of the party.

Tonto Dikeh was the deputy governorship candidate of the ADC in the March 18 governorship election in Cross Rivers State.
