The Unprecedented Campaign Launch in the history of KTU - Story by Michael Dordzavu

Koforidua Technical University is a  university which was established in the year 1997. The university is located in the Eastern region of Ghana and is one of the topmost leading technical universities in Ghana.

 The time has come for the student populace to elect new leaders to lead in the affairs of the Students Representative Council and amongst such portfolios is the SRC presidential seat. Seven aspirants are contesting for the seat but one will definitely STAND out amongst them.

STANLEY NANA SAKYI GYAN with the slogan #StandWithStan on the 21st of June,2024 officially launched his campaign together with his team which is unprecedented in the history of the university and students' politics on campus.

The occasion was graced with the presence of some very important guests who were invited. Some lecturers also came to support the launch. Mr. Solomon Ernest Mensah, popularly known as

"Extra" by the students was there to support the program, of which he was the chairman for the occasion.

 Solomon King Akorli || a.k.a King Solo was there to support the team and encouraged the student body to throw their support behind Stanley Gyan Nana Sakyi. He was the co-chairman for the program.

The honorable Paa Kwesi Garvin, the "General Mosquito " when it comes to students politics on the campus of KTU holds the record of zero defeats in all elections he contested or pushed someone to contest a for a position from departmental to faculty and SRC level was called upon to introduce the campaign team of the #StandWithStan family.

The whole auditorium was turned upside down when he took to the stage to perform and to launch the official campaign song that he did for the #StandWithStan family.

Item 13 popularly known as free food among students was in abundance. Students had enough to their satisfaction.

Some other candidates who want to follow who know road also came out with flyers of their campaign launch trying to copy what has been done. 

Whether the other aspirants have the hope to believe by trusting the process with the faith to finish, we all await the end results.
