Dad, I’m still waiting for your call – Yvonne Nelson tells ‘Missing’ biological father by Reagan Mends October 14, 2023

 Celebrated Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has shared a post on social media, expressing her hope to hear from her biological father.

Nelson has been searching for her father for several years, after learning that the man whose surname she bears, Mr. Okoe Nelson, was not her biological father.

She has conducted a series of DNA tests but has not yet been successful in finding her father.

In her memoir, I Am Not Yvonne Nelson, she disclosed her quest to discover her real father’s identity. She described the journey as emotionally challenging but said she was determined to find her father.

In her recent post, the award-winning actress said she was still waiting for her father to call her. “Father, DAD, I’m still waiting for your call.” She wrote

Nelson’s fans have expressed their support for her, and have urged her to keep fighting to find her father. Some have also shared their own stories of searching for their biological parents.
